Dr. Kranti Kiran Reddy Ealla is a distinguished academic leader, researcher, and administrator currently serving as the Director of Research at Malla Reddy Vishwavidyapeeth (MRV). He is also a Professor of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology at Malla Reddy Institute of Dental Sciences. With over 16 years of experience spanning Dental Sciences, Clinical Research, Institutional Development, and Innovation Management, he has played a pivotal role in strengthening the University’s research ecosystem and advancing global academic collaborations.

As Director of Research, my vision is to strengthen research culture by encouraging faculty members, researchers, and students to engage in high-quality scientific investigations, technology development, clinical research, and entrepreneurial initiatives. We continuously strive to create opportunities that bridge academia, industry, healthcare, and society through collaborative research and innovation.
Our Directorate of Research actively supports research initiatives across diverse domains, including Medical and Dental sciences, Healthcare Innovations, Engineering, Technology, Pharmaceutical sciences, Nursing, Allied health sciences, Life sciences, Artificial intelligence, Sustainability, and Translational medicine. We facilitate funded research projects, clinical trials, startup incubation, intellectual property development, industry partnerships, and national and international collaborations to accelerate impactful research outcomes.

Research Contributions & Impact
Dr. Kranti Kiran Reddy Ella has successfully mobilized more than ₹2 crores in competitive research funding and serves as the Principal Investigator for multiple funded research projects. His contributions to translational research and clinical sciences have resulted in over 50 peer-reviewed national and international publications, two patents, and two authored academic books. His research interests include Drug Delivery Systems, Oral Cancer Biomarkers, Tissue Engineering, Biomaterials, Clinical Pathology, and Hydrogel-based Biomedical Applications.

A strong advocate for research excellence and institutional quality, Dr. Kranti Kiran Reddy Ella has actively contributed to NAAC accreditation initiatives, ethics governance, and research policy development.
