About
The Publication Cell was established to strengthen the research ecosystem at MRV by promoting high-quality scientific publications and research excellence. It has published research papers, review articles, and book chapters with reputed international publishers, while providing publication support to MRV medical and dental colleges. The Cell also organizes training programmes, seminars, and faculty development initiatives to foster a strong research culture and academic excellence.
Team Members
Under the leadership of Dr. Neema Kumari, Publication Cell In-charge, the Publication Cell is supported by a dedicated team of researchers committed to promoting research excellence at Malla Reddy Vishwavidyapeeth. Combining expertise in biomedical sciences, biotechnology, and biostatistics, the team provides end-to-end support for scientific publications, research communication, and publication ethics.
Roles and Responsibilities
The cell assists researchers in identifying appropriate journals, ensuring adherence to ethical publication standards, maintaining publication records, supporting manuscript preparation, and improving research visibility through indexing platforms such as Scopus, Web of Science, and Google Scholar.
Workflow
Researchers prepare manuscripts and consult the Publication Cell for guidance. The cell provides support for journal selection, manuscript improvement, submission procedures, and tracking of publications. Published outputs are recorded in the institutional research database for reporting and ranking purposes.
Services
Journal selection guidance, manuscript editing support, publication ethics awareness, indexing guidance, and maintenance of a faculty publication database. The cell also assists with documentation required for accreditation, rankings, and research reporting.
Activities
The Publication Cell organizes workshops on scientific writing, publication strategies, plagiarism awareness, and journal indexing systems. It also promotes research outputs through newsletters, annual research reports, and institutional repositories.
